New conspicuity-related motorcycle accident studies

On behalf of the Motorcycle Safety Advisory Council of New Zealand the research institute TRL has performed an international literature review on motorcycle conspicuity, to establish those treatments that might be most suitable for use. The review concluded that high visibility and reflective clothing, and headlights or daytime running lights on motorcycles, have been effective in increasing motorcyclist conspicuity.
